Our Story

Konstrui Construction and Development Inc started under Konstrui Designs, an architectural consultancy firm by Ar. Johann Marie L. Torres in 2019. After resigning from her previous work to study her second degree, she registered Konstrui Designs under sole proprietorship. Originally composed of only her and a jr architect under her wing, they were able to handle a great deal of architectural and interior design projects.

The success of Konstrui Designs led to the decision of further serving customers with not only quality design but also quality build projects.

Thus, Konstrui Designs became Konstrui Construction and Development Inc in 2021.

Meet The Team

Founder, Principal Architect and Project Manager

Ar./IDr. Johann Marie L. Torres

Johann is a licensed architect and interior designer with extensive design experience for almost 15 years. She holds a double degree - BS Architecture and BS Interior Design from the University of the Philippines Diliman. She is also a master's student at the Ateneo Graduate School of Business under the Master in Entrepreneurship Program Batch 25. She recently passed the Interior Design Licensure Exam July 2024. Her current career goals include taking a qualifying exam to be a certified Project Management Professional, and finishing her masters to finally become a Master Entrepreneur. She also has plans on getting certification for LEED for green buildings and interiors.

Her passion for architecture and interior design, quality assurance and construction management helps the company's vision in giving quality design and build services to our clients.

When at home, she loves to read books (she is such a Potterhead!), watch anime and movies (currently watching One Piece!), play PC games (Stardew Valley is so addicting!), learn a new hobby or skill, and her most favorite - spend quality time with her husband and two sons.
